Why Juice?

Your Decision to Start a Juice Cleanse
Starting a juice detox is about improving your quality of life for now and in the future. Juicing allows your digestive system the opportunity to take a break from always being in overdrive trying to break down and digest foods. Incorporating a juice regimen allows the nutrients to penetrate your cells quicker so that you can receive the maximum amount of nutrients. You reduce the possibility of many nutrient deficiencies by juicing.

Consuming unhealthy foods can cause a buildup on your artery walls causing plaque and debris which has the possibility of being an onset for many challenging health conditions. Juicing serves as a power wash for arteries, helping to get old food out of your arteries and digestive tract. Due to harmful chemicals in the environment and many unhealthy foods that do not supply the body with the nutrients it needs to perform the usual detox functions properly, toxins may be formed. These toxins may cause headaches, low energy, illness and many emotional imbalances including weight gain. When you juice, you help your digestive system repair from many toxins by providing it with the nutrient dense components juicing offers. You also allow your liver to take a rest from constantly trying to rid itself of toxins passing through when our body is digesting food.

If losing weight is your goal, a juice cleanse is a great way to help you jump start your diet in a natural, safe and healthy way. A juice cleanse is like a fun-filled vacation for your organs! Lots of rest, relaxation and quality of life!
We offer a “detox” version of all the bundles that include all natural herbs that may help speed up your weight loss, curb your appetite and increase the digestive flushing effect.

While the “non-detox” has the same benefits, it is milder in the areas mentioned for the “detox”. The non-detox juice is safe for everyone to drink including pregnant women, children and the elderly. Children absolutely love them! The “detox” juice is not safe for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women due to the special herbs used to increase the detoxifying effect.

How to Start a Juice Cleanse
You’ve made the decision to start a juice cleanse which is totally AMAZING. The gratitude you are showing your body is one of the highest forms of respect. Your body does so much for you 24/7. It is an honor to serve it with the best foods nature has to offer.

It would be to your benefit if you evaluate your eating habits- do you crave a lot of sugar or salt? Do you overindulge in simple carbs (unhealthy carbohydrates). Evaluation means doing some additional research on some of the side effects of starting a juice cleanse so you can better determine the length of your cleanse. There have not been any reports of CYW Infused Water causing the following side effects, but research shows juicing may cause headaches, anxiety, irritability, low energy and diarrhea.

If you are a person that regularly consumes fast food, processed foods, caffeine, processed meats, junk food, alcoholic beverages or other acid producing foods research shows it is recommended that you try to remove those items from your diet at least 3-5 days before starting the juice cleanse. There have been no reports of people that use CYW Infused Water needing to wean themselves off of unhealthy eating habits before starting the cleanse, although there may be unreported instances. Research shows people that start the cleanse and follow the suggested meal plan experience desired results.

Recommended Time to Cleanse
Based off individual needs/goals, recommended cleanse times are:
  • 3 Day Cleanse: No more than 5 times per month
  • 5 Day Cleanse: No more than three times per month

Recommended Foods on Your Cleanse
It is recommended that you have two juices per day, two healthy snacks and one healthy meal for dinner. Some healthy snacks include:
  • Apples, Oranges, Banana, Grapes, Bell Peppers, Avocado, Nuts

Those are just a few healthy snacks to choose from. You can research additional healthy snacks on your own and can also purchase the CYW Meal Plan and Grocery List that will help you navigate your cleanse more effectively. Here is a sample recommended juice cleanse meal schedule:

  1. Morning: One Juice
  2. Mid-Morning: Healthy Snack
  3. Afternoon: One Juice
  4. Mid Afternoon: Healthy Snack
  5. Dinner: Healthy Dinner
Be sure to consume a minimum of 64 ounces of water per day. To make water intake easier, drink about 12.8 ounces of water every time you drink or eat a snack or meal.
    How to Store Your Juices

Shipping: Upon receipt via mail delivery, your juices should be slightly frozen or cold in special materials to ensure freshness to keep the enzymes and good bacteria in our unpasteurized juices alive.

Keeping Your Juices Fresh: It is recommended to keep juices frozen until you are ready to consume. For instance, if you're completing a 7-day cleanse, remove two juices a day from the freezer. The night before, place two juices in 8 ounces of standing water so they can unthaw at room temperature. Typically, juices will unthaw on their own within 6 hours at room temperature if placing them in water is not an option. Juices are fresh if you do not choose to freeze them and may remain fresh up to 7-9 after receipt. Juices can remain fresh while frozen for up to 6 months.

      Exercise
Many people report high energy levels during their cleanses. However, because every person is different, it is your responsibility to gauge the level of intensity you should work out. If you find that you don’t have a lot of energy to do high intensity workouts, do low impact workouts like walking or yoga.

      After Your Cleanse
You made it! That wasn’t hard at all was it? Your body is plenty happy you rewarded it with so many fresh and living foods! Life for life! Be sure to take it slow with reintroducing foods like fast and processed foods, caffeine, processed meats, junk food, alcoholic beverages or other acid producing foods back into your diet if you wish to do so. Reintroducing those foods too quickly could have negative side effects like nausea and an overall imbalance due to the positive impact of the cleanse. Remember your reasons for starting the cleanse. That in itself should hold a lot of weight with respect to how you made a decision to be healthier.
